On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the 46th Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade in Ship Bottom, NJ, was a tremendous success, spreading joy to all who attended. The chilly weather and brisk winds certainly had a December feel but it didn’t stop people from gathering along Long Beach Boulevard to enjoy the Ship Bottom’s 100th Anniversary, A Century of Christmas Memories parade.
This year’s parade was a key event in the town’s year-long celebration of a century of community and holiday traditions which was anticipated to be one of the most unforgettable festivities to date. It truly lived up to that expectation! The event was warmly embraced by the community, fostering an atmosphere of happiness and celebration for everyone involved!
Garden Club members Kathy Picarello, Margery Selfridge, Dianne Thompson and Mary Wilding together with Christmas Parade Chair Karen Martinez, collaborated to create the Garden Club’s float. The members were thrilled and prepared to take part in the parade! A heartfelt thanks to Karen and Rafael Martinez for graciously hosting the working session at their home!!
