Garden Committees

The Garden Club maintains three public gardens that are open to the public all year on Long Beach Island. Members actively engage in planting, weeding, watering and caring for the gardens from spring to fall. Native plants support local insects and wildlife, including pollinators like bees and butterflies. They often require less water and fewer pesticides, promoting a healthier ecosystem.

The ongoing efforts of the Club are invaluable not only for enhancing the beauty of Long Beach Island but also for fostering environmental stewardship within the community. By focusing on native plant gardening and involving the community, the Club surely displays a lasting and positive impact!
