Mission Statement

To further, in every way, interest in gardening and kindred subjects and to cooperate with all programs for the improvement in planting, conservation, environment and beautification of our island.

The Club supports many outreach programs, local environmental organizations, scholarship programs and services through the monies raised by our annual Holiday Tour of Homes and our June Outdoor Living Garden Tour. Professional speakers present programs throughout the year on floral design, horticulture, environmental issues and garden related topics. Membership meetings are held the second Thursday of every month, September through May excluding December.

The Garden Club of LBI’s 57th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes is the perfect way to welcome the holiday season on Long Beach Island! Stroll through five beautifully decorated residences at your leisure, each one sure to fill you with holiday cheer!

Join us for the Jingle on the Waves event on:

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Alongside the tour, treat yourself to a delightful gourmet box lunch at the Brant Beach Yacht Club, all while taking in breathtaking views!

Get ready to shop for the holidays at our pop-up boutique located at the Surf City Firehouse! Discover charming green baskets, delightful cookie trays, and unique crafts from various vendors. This is the ideal chance to find exquisite gifts and festive decor to enhance your holiday celebrations!

Tickets will be made available for purchase to non-club members on Friday, October 11, 2024.  Stay tuned for more upcoming ticket information!

Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs! 2024

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, the Environmental Committee participated in the 25th annual “Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs” event, sponsored by the LBI Fishing Club and the Borough of Harvey Cedars.
