Each year on the first of May, The Garden Club of LBI maintains a cherished tradition by delivering delightful flower baskets to friends and neighbors who could use a bit of cheer. This year, nineteen members of The Garden Club opted to carry on this long-standing practice. They assembled at the Bay Avenue Community Center in Manahawkin, where they enjoyed one another’s company while crafting the baskets.

The flower arrangement for the baskets featured a diverse assortment, including leather leaf fern, roses, solidago, chrysanthemums, mini carnations, alstroemeria, and greens sourced from members’ gardens.

After preparing the baskets, the members personally delivered the floral arrangements and offered heartfelt greetings to the recipients!
