The Garden Club of Long Beach Island held its annual Holiday Luncheon at Calloway’s Restaurant in West Creek on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, with 105 members in attendance. The event was skillfully organized by co-chairs Judie Alloway and Bonnie Korbiel, who created a delightful atmosphere enhanced by stunning natural centerpieces designed by Judy Alloway. As a festive highlight, several fortunate attendees had the opportunity to take these centerpieces home!

The event was opened by President Joanne McKee lauding the success the Club’s 58th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes, recognizing Paula Brennan & Kim Carroll for their outstanding organization of the event.  December has been a very busy month that also included the Club’s participation in the 100^th Ship Bottom Holiday Parade chaired by Karen Martinez, a energetic Senior Services program organized by Marge Girardo and the Youth Committee holiday design session chaired by Jeannette Michelson.

A heartfelt thanks to Joyce Lubach for coordinating an incredibly successful toy donation drive, which yielded an impressive amount of contributions for the Children’s Specialized Hospital of RWJ Barnabas Health in Toms River. Additionally, Kathie Dowe played a vital role in organizing the collection of food and personal items for the St. Francis Food Pantry in Brant Beach!!
