On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the 45th Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade in Ship Bottom, NJ, was a tremendous success, spreading joy to all who attended. The chilly weather and brisk winds certainly had a December feel but it didn’t stop people from gathering along Long Beach Boulevard to enjoy the Holiday Hoedown parade. The event was warmly embraced by the community, fostering an atmosphere of happiness and celebration for everyone involved!

Garden Club members Carol Thim, Joyce Lubach, Maria Dinella, Lisa Tyson & Dianne Thompson along with Karen Martinez, Christmas Parade Chair, were geared up to march in the parade. Even Holly the goldendoodle participated!

The Club’s float was constructed the day before the event by members Dianne Thompson, Carol Strazensky, and Marilyn Upton. Special thanks to Karen and Rafael Martinez for generously hosting the working session at their home!
