57th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes
December 2024

The Garden Club of LBI presented Jingle on the Waves, the 57th Annual Holiday Tour of Homes. Holiday House Tour Chairs, Paula Brennan and Kim Carroll, orchestrated an amazing tour, full of planning and organization for the event.  Every detail was addressed for the success of this tour, involving just under 200 members. It is our hope that you, our ticket holder, were amazed, entertained and inspired by this experience.

Congratulations to Paula and Kim and thanks go to all of our visitors for supporting the Garden Club’s efforts to give back to our lovely island community.

Nestled in the greenery on one of LBI’s most historic streets just a short distance from Old Barney exists this perfect replica of a 1750’s Farmhouse.  A thoughtful blend of old and new, this recently built classic merges all the amenities of modern construction with a traditional folk-house layout, beautiful historic color palette and antiques, keepsakes and memorabilia from a by-gone era when the hearth was the heart of the home.  The cozy spaces bring a sense of warmth and tranquility, and the covered stone porch invites visitors to sit and stay a while.

Memories are many and worries are few when sitting on the wrap-around porch of this charming cottage along the green of Veteran’s Park in the heart of the Queen City.  A glimpse back to a simpler time, the home epitomizes the Victorian era when houses were grand yet inviting. This Circa 1881 home has kept all of its grace: leaded glass windows, amazing woodwork, antique furnishings and the original fireplace with a cast iron insert and colorful tile surround are just a few of the things to take in while visiting this amazing seaside treasure.
